Amity treaties are considered one of the types of treaties that are concluded during times of good political relations, so that in times of tension or challenge they can be used to resolve issues between them based on legal methods (without military tension). Amity treaties consider two levels of interests: the sovereign interests of the states and the interests of the nationals of the parties. Since a century has passed since the ratification of the Iran-Saudi Arabia Amity Treaty and this treaty has not adequately addressed the two aforementioned levels, this article, while assessing the necessity of updating treaty, answers the question: if the parties agree to update treaty, what will be the input and output of the treaty focusing on the interests of nationals, especially Iranian pilgrims? Therefore, Based on the findings of this article, ensuring the concern for maintaining public order and committing to providing assistance are Saudi Arabia's benefit, and prohibiting discrimination, prohibiting incitement and hateful actions against Iranian citizens, and accepting recourse to the International Court of Justice can be Iran's outputs. معاهدات از منظر حقوق بین الملل، ابزاری حقوقی برای تأمین دغدغه ها و منافع دولت ها از طریق مسالمت آمیز به شمار می آید. معاهدات مودت یکی از گونه های معاهدات بین المللی است که در زمان حسن روابط سیاسی و دیپلماتیک منعقد می شوند، تا در زمان تنش یا چالش برای حل و رفع مسائل فیمابین براساس روش های حقوقی (بدون تنش نظامی) به کارگرفته شوند. معاهدات مودت دو سطح از منافع را شامل می شوند: منافع حاکمیتی دولت ها و منافع اتباع طرفین.<br>از آنجا که یک قرن از تصویب معاهده مودت ایران و عربستان می گذرد و این معاهده به نحو شایسته به دو سطح یادشده نپرداخته است، این مقاله ضمن سنجش ضرورت روزآمدسازی این معاهده به این سؤال پاسخ می دهد که درصورت توافق طرفین بر به روزرسانی این معاهده، داده و ستانده معاهده با محوریت منافع اتباع، به ویژه حاجیان ایرانی، چه خواهد بود؟ از این رو با منطقی حقوقی و روشی تحلیلی - توصیفی ابعاد این موضوع بررسی شد. براساس یافته های این نوشتار، تأمین دغدغه حفظ نظم عمومی، احترام به قواعد و مقررات داخلی و تعهد به امدادرسانی، ستانده عربستان و تعهد به منع تبعیض و منع اقدامات تحریک آمیز و نفرت برانگیز علیه اتباع ایرانی و پذیرش رجوع به دیوان دادگستری بین المللی، می تواند ستانده ایران باشد. https://journal.hzrc.ac.ir/article_721988_7630d857151b69b28f92fc304929a7a9.pdf
